A recent photo project

This project was called "high tech/low tech," and you had the choice of using an older photography technique (like film or pinhole) with a newer technique (like scanning it and editing it in photoshop) or vice versa, taking a digital picture and editing it manually. I chose this second process, and photographed (digitally) an old boombox, and printed it onto watercolor paper, and proceded to color it with colored pencil. I think it turned out rather fun, don't you think?

  1. It makes we want to find an old Monkeys tape and call my friends over for a pajama party. I think I will settle by putting on my PJs and painting my toenails.

    What fun!

  2. LOVE.IT. !!! Super fun, very 80's retro. I would totally hang this in my house! :)

  3. This is absolutely amazing..:) Nice work done..

  4. This put a smile on my face. I used to own one of this thing. The ghetto blaster! It was our ipod then. Only a hundred time bigger.
Though I didn't walk about with it on my shoulder bouncing around, I'm pleased to say. Oh and the advance technology on this one was the fact that we can fast forward the song & it stopped by itself on the next song. Whoah, How cool was that!
    Great poster! Love the result.
