Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted, but this next one will be three parts: first, my favorite black and white photos. Part two will be my favorite color photos, and I DO mean COLOR! haha. Part three will be my favorite portraits. I've come to the realization that most of my photos include at least one if not more of the three C's: color, contrast, and children. So you'll see those a lot in the upcoming posts!
I really hope everyone will participate so I can tell which ones have the most impact. Thanks in advance!!
Ok, here are my favorite B&Ws.
Jess,
ReplyDeleteGreat black and white. Good exposure. I love the snow pixs, the fence sign (like the angle you put on that), and the little kid with the headphones. Nice composition.
Hope you will join in shooting ten churches for our Friday posting.
I like your dog.
PS: I won't hold it against you that you are a Canon girl. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Jess! Wish my Cannon didn't break.
ReplyDeleteI just brought a Fujifilm camera, and it stinks! Every photo looks like someone sprinkled pepper on it.
Hi, Jess! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your question! The lettering on my scrapbook page was all from stamps. I used a "day in the life" stamp from one set and then alphabet stamps for our names. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work Jess!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white photo's they bring so much atmosphere and simplicity at the same time. Moving! Love how you have captured so much time, a special moment in everyone of them.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your message: The painting is 20 by 20 inches by 1.5 depth.
Love blk/white and the pics you posted are great. The people-portraits are among my favorites. Landscapes are nice in blk/wht too and photographers don't do enough of them. You did and did so nicely.
ReplyDeletep.s. My angel picture? The candle was surrounded by a yellowish casing so it cast a yellow light. No special settings on the camera, I think automatic actually. thanks for following. Im looking forward to the next series from you.
People are one of my favorite subject. You did a cracking job. I love them all. I love candid shots because It shows what was really went on the spur of the moment. Great expression on the dog face. Awesome stuff! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jess! My favorite pic is the one of the wedding cake. I love how you framed it close and weren't afraid to crop part of it out. And I like your depth of field - with the cake in focus and the champagne glasses in the background going softer.
ReplyDeleteMy second fave is the mother and daughter playing at the playground, where the little girl is looking out a fort window and the mother is peeking around the corner. Very cute!
LOVE the wedding cake and LOVE the couple walking in the snow!!!! I actually love them all, but those are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI love the horse one, the dog one, the cake and the couple walking in the snow. Fantastic shots!
